Old man entertains assisted living facility residents with OKC Thunder tribute (video)
As the YouTube description clearly explains, this is “Danny miller piano with crystal place staff and residents.” Doing a little internet research, I confirmed that yes, there is such an assisted care living facility located in Oklahoma City that goes by the name Crystal Place.
Beyond that, I have no idea what in the hell is going on here.
Set to the tune of the theme song from Rawhide, this tribute to the Oklahoma City Thunder is sure to get your feet stomping and your Thunder-loving heart pounding.
Wow, that’s certainly interesting, although I cannot confirm, in light of the above-mentioned YouTube description, whether or not “Danny miller” is the name of the piano or a resident. Or just a guy who plays Thunder anthems at retirement homes.
But really, the highlight of the video? The old lady in the green shirt who barely moves an inch throughout the entire performance. Thank goodness the attractive young lady — presumably a member of Crystal Place’s staff — checked on her towards the end. At the same time, the lady in green appears to have some sort of I.D. tag on her, so maybe she’s a member of the staff, too? Who knows? So many questions…
