Here’s Alice Cooper throwing out the first pitch at a Tigers game (video)
Legendary frontman Alice Cooper has certainly mellowed over the years since his ’70s shock rock heyday. He’s taken up golf, for crying out loud, and he’s apparently pretty darn good at it, too.
The 64-year-old Cooper was back in his hometown of Detroit (in a way, it’s disappointing that Cooper doesn’t hail from Milwaukee — which of course is pronounced “mill-e-wah-que” which is Algonquin for “the good land,” but I digress), where he was born Vincent Damon Furnier way back in 1948, to throw out the first pitch before the Tigers-Angels game at Comerica Park on Tuesday.
It’s difficult to ascertain the quality of Alice’s pitch, but from the looks of it, it appears that he zipped one in there right over the plate. No More Mr. Nice Guy, indeed.
