Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon make cameos in ‘Kick Buttowski’ cartoon (video)
If you have little kiddies running around your house that enjoy watching Saturday morning cartoons on Disney XD, in particular Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil, do not be alarmed and suspect you’re going crazy if you swear you are hearing the voices of Pardon the Interruption‘s Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon during the new episode airing Saturday, Feb. 18 at 11:00 a.m. ET. Because it’s really them.
Via ESPN Media Zone:
When Kick is caught littering by Officer Irwin (Kornheiser) and Officer Mack (Wilbon), he is assigned highway clean-up duty, but finds keeping a stretch of highway litter free more difficult than he thought when up against Chuck Glarman, a pesky rival who is determined to have the cleanest stretch.
Sweet. Wilbon and Kornheiser are easily two of best personalities at ESPN so it’s cool to see them branching out a bit into another medium, albeit on show airing on a network also owned by The Walt Disney Company. And I bet Wilbon’s soon-to-be four-year-old son will get quite a kick out of hearing his dad’s voice on a cartoon. And Kornheiser? This is right up his alley. In fact, he really should get into the voice acting. Just saying.
