Lights go out at Bankers Life Fieldhouse during Nets-Pacers game (video)
During the second quarter of Thursday evening’s game between the New Jersey Nets and Indiana Pacers, an electrical malfunction occurred somewhere in the arena which resulted in the lights going out for approximately five minutes.
Order was restored, the lighting issue was rectified and the Pacers went on to defeat the Nets by a score of 93-88, snapping a five-game losing streak.
I’m no electrician so I won’t speculate as to the cause behind the power outage, but maybe some hippie is in charge of the lights and he was listening to “When the Music’s Over” by The Doors.
Hey, it could happen.
