Here’s Lakers coach Mike Brown kissing Andrew Bynum on the forehead (video)
If the matchup between the Los Angles Lakers and Boston Celtics on Thursday evening was not intriguing enough going in, the fact that the game went into overtime as L.A. held on for an 88-87 victory at TD Garden certainly justified the attention this game received on a relatively quiet night of NBA action.
But something that did not occur during game play was certainly intriguing in its own right as well: the interesting exchange between Lakers head coach Mike Brown and Andrew Bynum. As the team made their way to the bench after securing the win, Brown intercepted Bynum and proceeded to wrap his hands around Bynum’s head and kiss the center’s forehead. Interesting. I guess even NBA big men need love, too. But what surprises me most of all is how an admitted Dungeons & Dragons dork can be so secure in his masculinity that he has no problem smacking a kiss on another man’s forehead.
