Bubba Watson’s General Lee even has the trademark ‘Dixie’ horn honk (Video)

As far as I’m concerned, Bubba Watson is the coolest and perhaps most eccentric golfer on the PGA Tour. First of all, his name is Bubba. Enough said. Further, Watson is also a member of the boy band sendup, the Golf Boys, he routinely uploads goofy videos to the interwebs (examples of such here and here), and he once went golfing with Justin Bieber. And he is so well-liked by golf fans that one of them even got a tattoo of Bubba on his leg.

The most recent far out thing Bubba did was go out and purchase himself a General Lee, the car made famous by the good ol’ boys Luke and on The Dukes of Hazzard.

Watson is having a grand old time with the General Lee, too, even driving it to this week’s Phoenix Open. Bubba uploaded a video of his leisurely drive to the course the other day and showcases that the automobile even has the traditional horn honk that Bo and Luke Duke’s General Lee had on the show, the melody from the opening line of “Dixie.”

Video follows.

Awesome. And the best part? Despite the unneeded honking, Bubba is never meanin’ no harm. Unless Rosco P. Coltrane and Boss Hogg are up to something no good. Which is unlikely to happen since they are fictional characters. Duh.
