Check Out This Full-Court Buzzer-Beater From Nebraska High School Basketball (Video)

With time running out in the third period, Joseph Christen, a senior for the Anselmo-Merna (Neb.) High Coyotes, heaved a shot from practically underneath the opposing rim to see it hit nothing but net on the other end of the court. Nice.

Unfortunately, despite Christen’s heroics, the Coyotes nevertheless ultimately fell to the Arcadia (Neb.) High Huskies by a score of 50-47. But what makes this shot substantially more impressive is that it was much more of a traditional basketball shot as opposed to the one-armed prayers typically featured in these kind of videos.

Well done, Mr. Christen. The only thing that would have made this video cooler than it already is would be an appearance by He Who Walks Behind The Rows. He’s the guy who can typically be seen attending Nebraska high school basketball games pacing in the upper reaches of the arena behind the last row of seats seeking out any player named Malachi, because according to Isaac, he wants him, too, for some reason.
