Here’s A News Report On The Guy Who Got The Barkley-Bavetta Kissing Tattoo (Video)
Photographic documentation was already secured earlier this week of how Emmet Bentley, a bartender in San Jose, Calif., took up Shaquille O’Neal’s challenge that he issued during TNT’s NBA show where he offered $1,000 to any person who got a tattoo of the infamous lip-locking between Charles Barkley and Dick Bavetta at the 2007 NBA All-Star Game.
Obviously, Bentley had no qualms with defiling his epidermis with the tattoo. In fact, Bentley says this type of thing is “par for the course” for him. This openness to getting bizarre tattoos isn’t a new thing for him, either. In fact, here’s a guy who has a tattoo of AC Slater from Saved By The Bell permanently inked on his body. Wow.
Well, you have to give the guy some credit for having the guts to pull of such an interesting stunt, although, according to Bentley, he hasn’t received dollar one from Shaq, nor has he heard from him:
“Yeah, I’m hoping Shaq sees it, at least responds and if I get the one thousand dollars great, but if I don’t its cool, just get my name out there, get my 15 minutes, you know,” said Bentley.
Indeed. And here I learn that all it takes to score a profile on a local TV news broadcast is getting a goofy tattoo. Sure makes my decision to get in a fistfight with a kangaroo look stupid. And I’m still not allowed back at the zoo.
