You’ve Watched Bowling Before On TV, But Have You…IN HIGH DEFINITION???
Okay, perhaps you have not watched bowling on television before, but you would be a darn fool not to hitch your viewing wagon to ESPN’s brand-spanking-new, crystal clear broadcast stylings of the upcoming year’s PBA Tour. Yeah, that’s right, HD, baby. And no, I am not referring to the Professional Beauty Association, the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, nor am I making reference to the Professional Benefit Administrators. I am, of course, discussing the Professional Bowlers Tour and its partnership with ESPN.
And what better time to roll out bowling in high definition than now? Long have I, uh, longed to see the sweat on Chris Barnes forehead, the boogers in Pete Weber’s nostrils, the small wood of Tom Smallwood, the rash on Sean Rash? Alright, not the last two — actually all of them — but you see where I’m going with this. Can you imagine how awesome it’s going to be to see the freshly prepared lanes glistening with oil? The glint of the lights dancing on the top of a ten pin?
The future is now, people.
Note: All kidding aside, I actually enjoy watching bowling on television. Great for napping.
