While we have all enjoyed Batting Stance Guy’s wild and crazy antics over the years, it looks like some younger competition is ready to steal away the mantle as the best batting stance impersonator in the business. Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you the 2-year-old soon-to-be-sensation, Batting Stance Baby. Too darned cute.

This unnamed young fellow was featured on the Minnesota Twins broadcast of Friday’s game against the Oakland A’s on FOX Sports North and I must say, his expertise in the area of mimicking batting stances might be unheralded. The way in which he crafts the unique batting stances of Twins sluggers Jim Thome and Delmon Young to near perfection truly is a delight to behold.

I hate to have to be the one to break it to you, Batting Stance Guy, but as far as being the King of the Batting Stance Hill, the bell might in fact toll for thee. I’m sorry, that just seems to be the case. Batting Stance Baby is the batting stance voice of a new generation. Because as we all know, as soon as a person becomes a well-known and successful commodity, there always is some young buck gunning to take their place.
