A Butler Royals Jersey And A Pujols Cardinals Jersey Sewn Together = ‘BUTJOLS’
Gold. This is certainly not the first time we have seen a person sew together two jerseys to create an original jersey all their own – Laura Quinn’s combo Ohio State-Notre Dame jersey comes to mind (one was for her brother, Brady Quinn, and the other for her then boyfriend, now husband, A.J. Hawk) – but this is easily the most exemplary example of the hilarity that can occur courtesy of the process.
This enterprising fan, who was in attendance at last weekend’s interleague “Battle of Missorah,” combined the jerseys of Kansas City Royals first baseman/designated hitter Billy Butler and St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols. As you can see, by carefully stitching said combo jersey just right, the name reads “BUTJOLS,” which is funny because when it is said out loud, it sounds like “buttholes.” Ha. Well played, good sir. Well played.
