Reggie Bush’s ‘How To Alienate Fans And Appear Idiotic In Three Tweets’
Bravo, Reggie Bush. Bra-freaking-vo. As you can see from New Orleans Saints (for now) running back Reggie Bush’s tweet from last night, he has no problem whatsoever with the NFL Lockout. It has provided him ample time to catch up on his maxin’ and relaxin’, so what’s the big deal with it? And he’s good, folks. And you see, if Reggie Bush is good, everything’s good. The guy won the Heisman Trophy for crying out loud. Oh, wait.
Anyhoo, if you happen to be one of those people who cannot just let Reggie be Reggie as he chills on the beach, save for some public appearances – blech – via his Twitter account, Bush continued to provide ample reason as to why the NFL Lockout is such a win-win. Well, at least a win-win for Reggie, and really, that’s all that counts. But for all of you selfish saps out there, Reggie Bush explains:
Ah yes, an allusion to slavery. That one always works out well. Oh, and the reference that he would be putting his body at risk for nothing? And here I thought NFL players were well compensated for what they do. Crap, Reggie Bush didn’t even put his body at risk for no pay when he was not supposed to be receiving compensation (at least in monetary form – who needs a free education, right?) while at USC.
Finally, the climax of Bush’s three tweet trifecta of a virtuoso performance:
Wait. Was he joking about the tweet immediately previous to this one? The one about slaving away for nothing while completely ignoring the ignorance and idiocy contained in the tweet previous to that one about loving everything about the NFL Lockout? Well, in the end it doesn’t matter. Reggie’s okay, and that’s all that counts. And FYI, it’s called a sense of humor people. And if you don’t have that particular personality component, you can go ahead and cry reggie a river, man.
Further, Reggie Say Relax. Don’t do it. Or whatever.
