• Over 2,000 people took to Boston Common on Saturday to take part in a good old fashioned “SlutWalk,” one of many to take place all over to protest a Toronto police officer’s comments in January. While speaking to some university students, the police officer said women could avoid being raped if they avoided dressing like “sluts.” He later apologized, but that did not prevent massive uproar in Toronto, a movement which appears to be spreading with incredible ease…just like a slut.
