A ‘Real Housewives Of The PGA Tour’ Reality Show? Yes, Please

Eat your heart out, Elin Nordegren. You’ve surely missed the boat on this one – not that she minds, probably – she’s far too busy working towards her psychology degree so she can more readily support herself.

Sans Elin, a group of wives whose husband’s make their hay toiling on the PGA Tour have hired Reverb Collective, a Los Angeles marketing firm, to assist them in pitching a reality series in the style of the many incarnations of Real Housewives reality shows/train wrecks currently inundating basic cable broadcast schedules (I’m pretty sure Real Housewives of Rikers Island is set to shoot this spring).

Liz Estes, a so-called aspiring pop singer and the wife of PGA golfer Bob, appears to be the ringleader of the five gals (if any of the ladies ever caught wind of that assertion, a vicious, hair-pulling, golf club-swinging brouhaha could be in the offing – I hope), referred to the troupe as “the bad girls” of PGA housewives. Rawr.

And they got the goods to prove it. Check out this lineup of potential catty personalities who will join Liz Estes if their dreams of exploitation come to fruition (via Golf.com):

Leot Chen, Vaughn Taylor’s fiancĂ©e; Melissa Weber Jones, wife of Matt Jones and a former Miss Idaho; Alli MacKenzie, Will’s wife and a model who has been featured in a pictorial in the men’s magazine FHM; and Erin Walker, Jimmy’s wife, who is a competitive horseback rider…

Horseback rider, you say? Interesting. Even more interesting is the photo shoot Reverb Collective had the ladies take part in as part of their promotional push, some of which can be seen in this provocative photo gallery.

Estes, for her part, has no fear of a potential backlash coming courtesy of her more refined sophisticated and stodgy PGA housewives contemporaries:

“The girls who like me, like me,” she says. “And the ones who don’t, don’t. I really don’t care about negative comments.”

Rawr, indeed. You go, girl. Or something.
