ESPN’s Latest ‘It’s Not Crazy, It’s Sports’ Ad Features College B-Ball Coaches ‘Dancing’
Mike Krzyzewski…dancing? Surely you jest! That guy is wound tighter than a snare drum…or a Duke lacrosse player after a wild party.
But you see, therein lies the humor of ESPN’s newest “It’s Not Crazy, It’s Sports” commercial. The coaches are not really dancing, but if you set their courtside histrionics to a grooving dance beat, it sure as heck appears like they’re shaking their groove thangs! And quite well, I might add, almost as good as some of the moves I bust out…when no one’s watching. I try not to bring it up too often – it’s rather embarrassing – but I have been diagnosed with PDAD – Public Dancing Anxiety Disorder, a rare, but debilitating condition, mostly afflicting uncoordinated white dudes with no rhythm. Sigh.

The commercial features the song D.A.N.C.E. by Justice and was created by Weiden+Kennedy New York.
The video above is only a preview, as the full-length commercial will premiere tomorrow. Ha. College basketball coaches dancing. Now I’ve seen everything.
