Antonio Cromartie Works Blue When Fronting Gang Green’s Hatred Of Tom Brady
Jesus, this is getting so, so lame. While the New England Patriots continue to maintain an aura of unflappability, the New York Jets insist on flapping their gums as the teams prepare to face each other on Sunday in the divisional round of the AFC Playoffs. One would think the 45-3 butt-whipping the Pats laid down on the Jets on December 6th would at least somewhat shut their collective yaps but no: Antonio Cromartie, taking the lead from his loudmouthed coach, had some choice words regarding Golden Boy Tom Brady, and the cornerback let the expletives fly.
When asked if he has ever seen the sometimes brash Brady showing up the Jets by pointing at their sideline after a score to taunt them, Cromartie let loose (via the New York Daily News):
“We see that a lot. He does it a lot,” Cromartie said. “That’s the kind of guy he is. We really don’t give a damn, to tell you the truth.”
Okay, what kind of guy is Brady?
Wow. That’s some serious smack talk right there. I can only assume “an ass—-” is assmule” and “—- him” implies Cromartie said “farm him,” at least according to my experiences watching The Breakfast Club on basic cable.
But wait. There’s more.
Despite cutting open a profane vein when discussing Brady, Cromartie, you see, really doesn’t give a rip about him. Obviously.
“That’s what I think about him. I don’t really give a damn about him,” he said. “I don’t have to play against him. I play against the receivers.”
“Well, Brady is the one throwing to those receivers. “Yeah, but if I beat the s— out of his receivers, he can’t throw the ball,” Cromartie said.
Huh. Why would Cromartie talk about beating the “slaw” out of the Patriots receivers? That doesn’t even make sense. Oh well, I assume there must be a method to his madness. It will be interesting to see if Cromartie’s play on on Sunday can back up the slaw that’s spewing from his potty-mouth. Once again, basic cable versions of rated R movies. Those darn things have left me incapable of translating hyphenated expletives.
