The Fact That Obama Is In The New ‘NBA Jam’ And He Isn’t Makes Kyle Korver Sad
So unfair. But despite the slight, there Korver was on Tuesday night, co-hosting an NBA Jam launch party at the PHLI store in Hyde Park. You see, the Bulls guard is a huge video game fan and while he secretly held out hope that he would crack the Bulls’ roster on the game, the presence of teammates Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng, who are apparently much more “video game worthy,” made the chances of Korver realizing his dream incredibly slim.
Via the Chicago Tribune:
“I knew I wasn’t in it,” Korver said of the game. “But I looked (for myself) anyway.”
Aw, poor guy. But he put on a brave face anyway. You have to give him credit for that much.
