Auto Racing Team Signs Kid Not Old Enough To Legally Drive

Andretti Autosport has signed 15-year-old Sage Karam to their racing team, and the young punk will race in the USF2000 national championship this month in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Karam has competed in the Skip Barber national championship and the World Karting Association the past several years. He was the only American driver to compete full-time in a national karting championship and an open-wheel series in 2009.

Skip Barber? Sage Karam? What kind of names are these? Is this a made-up story or something? Fifteen-year-olds racing cars – now that’s a hoot. What’s next? People under the age of 21 drinking alcohol? That’ll be the day. I’ll believe it when I see it.
