It Appears Brady Quinn Is Planning On Making It Back To Haiti
Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn, as part of his work with the Canton, Ohio-based Granted Wish Foundation, made an appearance at a charity event in Miami last night which helped raise funds for two mobile medical treatment units that are already on their way to Haiti.
The vehicles will become outposts where children severely injured by January’s earthquake will receive therapeutic and rehabilitation care in Port-au-Prince.
Dubbed the WishMobiles, the vehicles include the 36-foot Airstream mobile medical treatment unit and a 22-foot 4×4 mobile medical transport unit.
They were purchased, reconditioned and outfitted for the mission using funds raised by the Granted Wish Foundation of Canton, Ohio.
Putting my cynicism and smart-ass attitude aside for a moment, that’s pretty awesome. You know, I have to admit that we bloggers have had a lot of fun at Brady Quinn’s expense over the years, but he seems to be an alright guy. By all accounts, Quinn is very generous with his time and appears to be more than willing to service any individual or organization as long as it is for a good cause. That’s nice.
