Josh Beckett got his 11th win of the season and the 100th in his career, going nine innings for the Red Sox and shutting out the Royals 6-0. PGA Tour. Steve Stricker fired a 7-under 64 in the fourth round to win the John Deere Classic by three strokes. It is Stricker’s second win in four starts. [PGATour.com]
