MLB Roundup. Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley each hit a home run off of starter Johan Santana as the Phillies beat the Mets 2-0 to complete the sweep. You know what it’s like when you get into a cab and the cabbie looks at you with that smell? It ain’t pleasant, that’s for sure. Not having any mace handy, an unnamed cab driver in Chicago used a can of aerosol deodorant. After the passenger put a knife to his throat demanding money, the cab driver sprayed the robber with the deodorant, causing the assailant to drop his knife. Good job, anonymous stinky cabbie. [MSNBC]
