Ryan Leaf Is A Cowboy, On A Hydrocodone Horse He Rides…

♪♪ He’s wanted (wanted!), dead or alive…♪♪

Sweet Christ, I can’t believe I just did that. I deserve to be savagely beaten for that one.

And to be accurate, he’s not wanted dead or alive, just wanted, after failing to turn himself in to authorities.

“At one point he said he was going to turn himself in. He hasn’t turned himself in yet, and if he gets picked up he’s going to be arrested,” Randall County prosecutor Lacy Miller said. “If he gets picked up out of our jurisdiction, then we will extradite him or use whatever means we have to get him back. Right now he is a wanted individual.”

For those not familiar with the story, Leaf was charged in Randall County, Texas with “trying to obtain a controlled substance by fraud and delivery of a simulated controlled substance to a West Texas A&M player. Leaf allegedly took the player’s prescription Hydrocodone pills and replaced them with fakes.” The warrant was issued May 20th after a grand jury issued nine indictments regarding the incident.

The worst part is authorities were trying to reach him at his parents’ residence. When a person starts getting phone calls at their parents’ house from police, it’s a pretty good indication that their life is completely in the shitter. At the same time, why are they trying to find him there? It’s not like Ryan Leaf is a blogger or taking online courses at the University of Phoenix. At least as far as I know.
