NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Ovie Time is the right time. Both Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby notched hat tricks for their squads but Ovie’s Capitals came out on the winning side as Washington defeated Pittsburgh 4-3. Ovechkin scored two goals less than three minutes apart in the third to make the difference and pace Washington to a 2-0 series lead. [NHL.com]

NBA Playoffs. Two games, two upsets as Houston upended Los Angeles 100-92 and Orlando beat Boston 95-90. Orlando was up by 27 at one point but allowed Boston to cut the lead to three with 6.6 seconds remaining before J.J. Reddick made two free throws to ice the game. [NBA.com Scoreboard]

MLB Scoreboard. Zach Greinke is now 6-0 for the season after pitching his second shutout in four starts in the Royals’ 3-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox. Florida beat Cincinatti 3-2 in 14 innings and Cleveland edged Toronto 9-7 in 12 innings. [MLB.com Scoreboard]

If that bitch sings “Summer Nights” one more time, I swear to God I’m going to beat her ass. A huge brawl broke out early Sunday morning in a karaoke bar in Portland, Oregon suburb that began when one guy’s wife got her ass slapped while performing a song. Police were called, pepper spray was used and people were charged with disorderly conduct, once again proving my theory: nothing good can come out of people who can’t sing performing – take American Idol, for instance. No, seriously – take it. [The Oregonian/AP]
