Yankees fans dress up as judges in honor of Aaron Judge (pic)
To say Aaron Judge has taken the Bronx by storm would be an understatement. The New York Yankees outfielder’s outstanding start to the 2017 MLB season quickly has made him a national sports media darling and a rapidly rising star.
But it’s Yankees fans who of course are most enamored with the 25-year-old slugger. And a handful of Judge-loving Yankees backers seated in the outfield during a recent home game demonstrated as much by outfitting themselves in some very apropos attire given the budding superstar’s surname.
That’s right. A group of guys came to a game at Yankee Stadium donning old-time judge’s garb. Wigs, robes, the whole nine yards.
Bearing a sign reading “ALL RISE” — Judge’s fitting slogan — the “Judge’s Judges” did their part to pay homage to the outfielder during Thursday’s 3-2 loss to the Houston Astros.

Judge’s season thus far merits such creative tributes. The outfielder has slashed .308/.408/.738 with 13 home runs and 38 RBI while leading the resurgent Yankees to a 21-11 record.
All rise, indeed.
