Von Miller on Wednesday was finally reunited with his helmet from Super Bowl 50 at the Denver Broncos’ training facility.
FBI agents Brian Schmitt, Melissa Tallman and Clint Judd were on-hand to present Miller with the prized piece of memorabilia. The Broncos tweeted out a photograph of the moment.

It was confirmed last month that Miller’s helmet, worn during the Broncos’ 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers, was recovered as part of the investigation into the theft of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s jerseys from Super Bowl XLIX and Super Bowl LI.
Strangely, Miller admits until he was notified by the NFL, he had no idea the helmet had gone missing in the wake of the Super Bowl victory and preparations for the 2016 NFL season.
“That’s how crazy last year was,” the Super Bowl 50 MVP said last week, via the Denver Post. “We had the best of the best and the finest investigators on the whole ordeal. They were able to find Tom’s jersey and they were able to find my helmet as well. Hats off to those guys.”
Until the FBI agents presented Miller with the helmet, it had gone through a verification process and securely stored somewhere in Denver.
