Draymond Green video game celebrates his groin-kicking history (vid)
A new basketball video game featuring Draymond Green — presumably without his endorsement — not only includes some quirky basketball gameplay, it also celebrates the Golden State Warriors star’s penchant for infamously flailing his legs for some below-the-belt, on-court action.
The new video game, cleverly entitled,”Draymond Green’s Shut Up And Slam Jam Karate Basketball,” was created last year but only released online this week, per Kotaku.
The story centers on how “the local rec center has been double booked for a charity basketball event and a karate championship.” Given Green’s habit of employing karate kick-like shots to opponent’s groin, it makes sense to combine the two events.
Ludum Dare 37, the creator of the game, posted a preview of the four-player, local multiplayer action.
Interesting. A breakdown of the game, via YouTube:
“Its NBA Jam meets Double Dragon… It’s DRAYMOND GREEN’S SHUT UP AND SLAM JAM KARATE BASKETBALL!”
Absolutely hilarious. The voice acting is top notch, the graphics are great and the whole game concept is pure silly fun. I mean… What could be better to play one or two rounds of basketball while kicking your enemies down to the ground? Stunning work.
Sounds like a winner. Although, as noted, it’s unlikely this video game received the full endorsement of its star. Still looks fun, though.
