Kate Upton takes part in Wrigley Field flyover in P-51 Mustang (pics/vid)
With boyfriend Justin Verlander’s Detroit Tigers in the Windy City to play a two-game set with the Chicago Cubs, Kate Upton was in town to take in Wednesday’s ballgame. Since she is a world-famous supermodel, Upton’s pregame experience was distinctly different than the one enjoyed by most folks, but this followed being forced to sit through a lengthy rain delay the previous evening.
First, though, Upton took part in the pregame flyover before Wednesday’s series-ending game by boarding one of the P-51 Mustangs that cruised over Wrigley Field prior to the first pitch, photos of which she posted to social media.
“Feeling pretty lucky to be able to experience a P-51 Mustang flying over wrigley field!” Upton wrote on Instagram. The swimsuit supermodel also posted video of the thrilling flyover.
And the view from field level:

Suffice to say, Upton’s experiences above and around the ballpark were far better than what she went through on Tuesday night, as a lengthy, soggy rain delay left her soaked and rocking a poncho.

“Dedicated tigers fans,” Upton wrote. And how.
But in the end, Upton did get the opportunity to be part of a flyover above the historic ballpark. So in the end, everything worked out just fine for her.
