Dwyane Wade says a kid at a youth camp asked why he flops so much (video)
Dwyane Wade, despite his championship pedigree and rankings as one of the finest basketball players of this generation, has developed a penchant for playing the flop card from time to time.
Perhaps one of his more legendary crappie flops came during Game 1 of the NBA Finals in June, when he pulled off this vulgar display of floppery on San Antonio Spurs star Manu Ginobili.
Wade was rewarded for his transgression against decency and fair play as the referees awarded him with two free throws. Unfortunately for D-Wade, though, he was subsequently fined $5,000 by the NBA for his egregious act of flopping.
Even worse, it further emboldened his reputation as a flopper, besmirching his otherwise good name in the process.
Said sullied reputation appears to have preceded Wade at a recent youth camp. Speaking about some of the interactions he had with the kids during the Dwyane Wade and Brandon Marshall Sports Academy, the veteran Heat star admitted that one young wisenheimer asked him about all the flopping and why he does it all the time.
Ha. From the mouths of babes, right?
