President’s Cup team, wives (including Amanda Dufner) visit White House (pics)

All twelve members of the winning 2013 President’s Cup team, including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jason Dufner, were on hand for a ceremony in the East Wing of the White House on Tuesday. The event was hosted by President Barack Obama, who delivered a five-minute speech where he cracked jokes about his golf game and congratulated the team.

Some of the members of the losing side of the President’s Cup were also present for the event. Jason Day, Ernie Els and Brendon de Jonge, all of whom were members of the team who lost to the Americans at Muirfield Village, made an appearance. A very classy move by a trio of classy golfers.

And the photos from the event? Hoo boy, some of them were quite amusing (see more here), especially the one below involving a googly-eyed Phil Mickelson.

As mentioned above, the wives and girlfriends — including the gorgeous Amanda Dufner and Tiger Woods’ galpal Lindsey Vonn — were also guests during the event and posed for a photo in front of the Abraham Lincoln portrait.

Saving the best for last, here’s a White House selfie the gorgeous Mrs. Dufner took alongside her hubby.

It looked like a good time, huh?
