Newly acquired New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker and his country music singer wife Jessie James Decker revealed in an exclusive statement to E! (the network that airs the couple’s reality show) on Tuesday morning that they are now the proud parents of a baby girl.
Born at 5:36 a.m. Tuesday, the Deckers welcomed Vivianne Rose to the world. A rep for the couple told E! that Jessie was admitted to the hospital on Monday afternoon and after delivery in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, Vivianne Rose was born, weighing 8lbs., 2 oz., measuring in at 20 inches “with a full head of hair!” The rep also reported that “[b]oth mom and daughter are doing well.”
James Decker posted the above photo before the Deckers made the trip to the hospital, writing, “So excited,” and then posted the below photo from her hospital room on Monday, where she wrote, “Lots of tears, nerves, smiles, and excitement! Just so anxious to meet our baby girl :)))”
She looks far too glamorous for a woman in her position. Hardly surprising, I guess.
Congratulations to the proud parents. Let’s hope Vivianne Roses shares her daddy’s love for New Jersey.
