Tyler Seguin’s hat trick delights Ice Girls, ref dons cowboy hat (photo/videos)
Poor Seguin…I’m sure he’s still devastated over that trade. pic.twitter.com/h54UBsjqp1

It was quite the madcap scene following Tyler Seguin notching a hat trick during the Dallas Stars’ 6-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks at the American Airlines Center on Thursday night.
After the Stars center scored his third goal of the night in the third period, he and his teammates congregated to an area on the ice where the Dallas Stars Ice Girls just so happened to be standing behind the glass.
As you can see above, the Ice Girls were quite thrilled with Seguin’s hat trick, jumping around and acting like Seguin was the hockey player version of Tom Jones … or Justin Bieber or Joey Lawrence whoever the girls are idolizing these days.
The raucous celebration didn’t end there. Nope, from there, the festivities took a turn into a realm that could only have manifested itself as NHL hockey was being played in Texas.
Everybody knows that fans will throw their caps on the ice following a hat trick in a demonstration of appreciation for the impressive performance of goal-scoring acumen, but only in Dallas would a fan toss a cowboy hat on to the ice.
The man’s name is Conrad Shindler, a down-home, rootin-tootin’ Stars fan, and dadgummit, he wasn’t about to allow the celebration to go on without his thrown contribution:
You know, because that’s what folks wear to hockey games in Dallas. Yee-haw.
Again, it did not end there, as linesman Derek Amell, overcome with the moment and a down-home desire to go country, picked up and donned said cowboy hat.
Even better, Conrad actually got his cowboy hat back after arena staff wrangled it back from Amell.
