While her performance in women’s slopestyle over the weekend garnered her only an 11th place finish in the highly competitive field, Norway’s Silje Norendal arguably may be the Olympic athlete who will see their profile rise the most from an appearance in Sochi at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Heading into Sochi, Silje Norendal was coming off a Winter X Games win in women’s slopestyle in January, so she was considered a worthy and deserving medal candidate. Things did not work out as such, but there’s always the future, something this young lady has both on and off the slopes.
The 20-year-old, blonde hair, blue-eyed beauty is the epitome of ethereal and flawless Nordic beauty and her affinity for posting photos to Instagram and Twitter surely won’t hurt the attention she’s sure to receive on the Internet one bit.
What a supremely gorgeous young woman. A true stunner. She kind of has a Elin Nordegren thing going on, even though Elin is Swedish, not Norwegian The fact that she can shred on a treacherous slopestyle track only makes Silje Norendal all the more captivating.
