LeBron James: Good at doing amazing things on the basketball court and stuff (GIFs)

It looks like the Miami Heat’s getaway for a spa day on Tuesday paid dividends for the fellas, in particular LeBron James, who put on a show with a high-flying array of dunks, blocks and other assorted displays of superhuman ability.

Despite Blake Griffin putting on a fantastic performance of his own, scoring 43 points, pulling down 15 rebounds and 6 assists, the Los Angeles Clippers didn’t have enough firepower to withstand LeBron and company as the Heat outlasted the Clips, winning 116-112.

As is often the case, LeBron was the star of the night (31 points, 12 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 steals), providing play after play of highlight-worthy heroics.

To wit:

A thunderous one-handed dunk after driving the lane with ferocious authority:

Here’s another look:

An unbelievable chase-down block on a streaking Darren Collison orchestrating the fast break:

LeBron also gets by with a little help from his friends, as Dwyane Wade provides James with a slick feed via a half-court alley-oop:

But things weren’t all good between D-Wade and LeBron, at least for one moment. Watch LeBron give Wade the stink-eye after Dwyane doesn’t handle a pass, resulting in a turnover:

In the end, I am sure the two were all good. Although one is left to wonder, given how well LeBron performed against the Clippers, could that be an indication he could be interested in joining the team, as a flimsy and speculative report from ESPN attempted to postulate?

Nah, if that were the case, LeBron could be interested in joining pretty much every team in the NBA.
