D-backs teammates support Aaron Hill at golf pro-am by holding huge cutouts of his head (photos)

When an Arizona Diamondbacks player needs the support of his teammates, you better be damn sure they will show up and do whatever it takes. Even if that involves dragging around ginormous cutouts of a teammate’s head while stalking him around a golf course. Apparently.

D-backs second baseman Aaron Hill is participating in the pro-am portion of the Waste Management Phoenix Open this week, and teammates Patrick Corbin, Josh Collmenter and Charles Brewer are right there beside him, behind the ropes, holding up absurdly large cardboard cutouts of Hill’s head.

The Diamondbacks players even recruited Hill’s playing partner, PGA Tour player Billy Horschel, and had him contribute to the demonstration of solidarity.

Nope, nothing distracting about those things.
