Giants running back David Wilson moons New York from hospital room after surgery (photo)
On Thursday, New York Giants running back David Wilson underwent surgery on his neck to repair a herniated disk that really flared up in October. The injury meant Wilson only played in five games this season but initial reports indicate that the surgery went well and there’s no reason to believe the running back won’t make a a full recovery.
Thank God surgery went well Dr. Surprised when they came in And saw me standing and walkin to bathroom on my own haha #solider #blessed

Apparently, Wilson is feeling so good only one day after surgery that the next tweet from him linked to a photo posted to his Instagram account where he is standing on table and pulling apart his hospital gown to moon the traffic traveling about New York on a busy Friday morning.
Fantastic. Even better, the post mentions that his doctor took the photograph. Wilson writes, “Hold up!!!! hold my phone (drake voice) while I moon NY traffic from the hospital room … dr took pic.”
Now that’s the sort of bedside manner a patient can really get behind.
Behind. Get it? Zing!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have the urge to listen to the soothing sounds of Christopher Cross music. “When you get caught between the moon and New York City,” indeed. I know it’s crazy. But it’s true.
