When a 5-foot-8 player posts up a 7-foot-6 player, it’s funny because of height disparity (photo)

During Tuesday night’s showdown between the Oregon Ducks and UC Irvine Anteaters, Ducks diminutive point guard Johnathan Loyd posted up Anteater Mamadou Ndiaye in a hilarious example of ridiculous size differential.
You see, Loyd is listed at 5-foot-8 and Ndiaye goes 7-foot-6, meaning Loyd was giving up almost two full feet to the man defending him.
No word on whether one of Loyd’s teammates fed him the rock. Somehow I doubt it.
A truly fantastic image from photographer Brian Davies. If this life sports photog gig doesn’t work out, Davies should hit up Yao Ming for a job as his personal photographer. You know, because Yao is always being photographed with shorter people, giving rise to the recurring SoB feature, “Yao Ming is Taller than People Who are Shorter than Him.”
