Roberto Luongo and Vancouver Canucks rock ugly Christmas sweaters in ‘family’ photo (pics)
Up Canada way, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. A very, very ugly Christmas, but Christmas nevertheless. A gaggle of Vancouver Canucks players, including Roberto Luongo, Ryan Kesler, Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin, among others, donned some atrociously ugly Christmas sweaters and posed for a family-style photograph for the team’s charity event, Dine and Ice.
The event benefited the team’s Canucks for Kids charity and players really got into the holiday spirit for it. If wearing ridiculous sweaters amounts to being really into the holiday spirit.
Since it’s a family-themed photo, does that mean that two of the four players in the back are the proud parents and the Sedin twins are the precocious children? That sounds about right. Or is the depiction of some kind of blended family? That actually makes much more sense. Kind of like “My Two Dads” squared.
While the above photo is good enough on its own, another photo has surfaced that truly is priceless. In it, Luongo and Kesler share a special moment.
Awww. That’s so … sweet? Yeah, sweet. And hey, it was all for charity, so that’s nice, too.
