GAH! Minnesota Wild create garish Jimmy Buffett jersey in honor of crooner’s concert at home arena (pic)
“Margaritaville” is invading the Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday night and in honor of Jimmy Buffett’s concert at the Minnesota Wild’s home arena, the team created a customized and truly horrific jersey paying tribute to the laid-back, island-happy vibe that is the prevailing theme of the crooner’s entire song catalog.
And yes, it is absurdly awful.
The official Twitter account of Xcel Energy Center teased the jersey only a Parrothead would love on Monday, but on Tuesday morning, it tweeted a more complete view of the jersey that gives a person the sickly feeling that no hangover from low-grade tequila could ever cause a person.

Egad. Just terrible. Buffett reportedly will receive this nightmare fuel as a gift on Tuesday. Hopefully, these sweaters will not be made available for purchase and the one presented to Buffett is somehow burned to smithereens in a tragic but necessary fire.
