Tom Brady, Gisele snatch up full-floor, luxury condo in Manhattan for $14 million
Not content with having other lavish homes — including a $20 million mansion in Los Angeles that has a moat — scattered about the country, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bündchen, have plunked down $14 million to snatch up a condo in one of Manhattan’s most high profile, luxury properties.
Page Six reports that Brady and Gisele have entered into contract on a three-bedroom, full-floor condo located on the 47th floor in the gorgeous glass tower of One Madison Park.
How the upper crust live, right?
“They went for the model apartment, which is a full-floor private residence with amazing city and river-to-river plus park views,” a source told Page Six.
The interior of the dazzling duo’s apartment, crafted by Danish designer Thomas Juul-Hansen, boasts solid quarter-sawn white oak plank floors and oversized doors, a master bedroom with his and hers closets and a master bath with a soaking tub and custom double vanities, perfect for the world’s most beautiful couple.
The world’s most beautiful couple, so long as Tommy Terrific’s black eye has healed. Ah, who are we kidding? Even with a shiner, Brady’s doing alright.
An earlier listing of the palatial unit said the luxurious has views looking north and west with a vista looking directly down Madison Avenue.
“It will allow Tom Brady to look down on Gotham like Batman,” another source notes.
Ah yes, Tom Brady is Batman, isn’t he? I can see him now, looking as dapper as Bruce Wayne at a high society event as he sips on a frozen margarita in his glamorous new digs. Frozen margaritas are Brady’s guilty pleasure, after all.
The only amenity that place probably is missing is a water slide. And Tom loves water slides.
Seeking additional comment from a Brady rep, Page Six was met with the retort of “He doesn’t comment on his private life.” And quite frankly, why should he?
And if anyone is wondering whether or not Brady and Gisele can afford such fancy residences, you needn’t worry. According to Forbes, Bündchen raked in a whopping $42 million last year while Brady made $48.3 million. Gisele unloaded a triplex penthouse on West 11th Street for $4.4 million while Brady similarly parted with another piece of property, selling his condo at Time Warner Center for $17.5 million.
Yeah, it’s a good gig if you can get it.
