‘Yao Ming is Taller than People Who are Shorter than Him,’ Part 3: Muggsy Bogues (pic)

A popular bit on the Internet of late appears to be taking photos of former NBA center Yao Ming standing next to people who are shorter than him so we can all marvel over how a man who stands 7’6″ can make even a person of average height seem short by comparison.

Some examples include Yao Ming standing next to Houston Texans star J.J. Watt and Yao Ming standing next to Manny Pacquaio. It’s crazy stuff. Weird, wild and wacky.

The latest entry in the “Yao Ming is Taller than People Who are Shorter than Him” pantheon involves the tall Ming standing next to one of the shortest men to ever play in the NBA: the diminutive, Lilliputian Muggsy Bogues, all 5-feet-3-inches of him.

Prepare to be amazed, astounded and perhaps even a bit delighted. It’s like a circus freak show in a way, only with retired NBA players.

Mind. Blowed. Yao Ming really does make people who are shorter than him seem really short by comparison.

And if you think Yao Ming is the only NBA player capable of making shorter people seem short, don’t forget about Minnesota Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic standing next to Zach Galifinakis, presumably discussing a possible remake of “My Giant.”
