When it was announced that Katherine Webb would be joining the ranks alongside her Twitter pal, Kate Upton — as well as many, many others — as a sexy Carl’s Jr. spokesmodel in yet another provocative commercial from the beefy burger purveyors, the news was met with great joy on the interwebs.
Most folks, including Brent Musburger (and it didn’t have anything to do with the fact that his name has “burger” in it, more with the broadcasting veteran’s borderline creepy affinity for the young lady that he articulated last year during an Alabama Crimson Tide game), were and remain very intrigued by just what Carl’s Jr. has planned for Miss Webb in the upcoming commercial.
But if Miss Kate Upton’s foray into hyper-sexualized burger noshing was any indication, it was going to be a steamy and seductive entree served up with a side of sexy.
While speculation abounds that she and Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback A.J. McCarron may be on the outs — a rumor that she somewhat denied — Webb’s career keeps rolling, outpacing and outshining her beau’s football fame.
And this behind-the-scenes look at her Carl’s Jr. commercial isn’t going to do anything to hamper her still-occurring meteoric rise to fame.
While it appears unknown at this time exactly when the commercial will in fact premiere, Webb provided the inside scoop about the filming of the spot, which promotes the burger chain’s new Buffalo Blue Cheeseburger.
“It was filmed at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena,” Webb told the New York Daily News. “It’s the ultimate gameday dream. I’m doing the process of biting into this yummy burger and really showing how great it tastes.”
And that she does.
Wow. All that can be said is,”Where’s the beef?” Wait, that’s Wendy’s. And Webb is a far superior spokeswoman than that old lady from those old commercials.
Webb, for her part, says that of all the many tasty creations Carl’s Jr. offers on its menu, the double bacon cheeseburger is her favorite, but adds a caveat indicating that she doesn’t generally tackle a burger in the manner she does in the commercial, nor does she likely strip down, either, for that matter.
“And I usually really cut mine in half and again in half so that I’m not too messy,” she explained.
