Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is enjoying the last remaining moments away from football before training camp starts by spending some time in his native California. On Tuesday, the very casually dressed former MVP and Super Bowl champ took in some of the Los Angeles nightlife at Bootsy Bellows on the Sunset Strip.
Being that it was L.A., TMZ’s trolls were swarming the scene and hassled Rodgers as he entered the nightclub and later when he exited the hotspot.
As the video shows, Rodgers was having none of it, ignoring TMZ’s inquiries about Colin Kaepernick catching flak for wearing a Miami Dolphins hat and later regarding what he thinks will happen to former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez. Rodgers wasn’t biting.
Best of all — aside from Rodgers’ refusal to engage the dimwitted TMZ staffer — who told the QB he was still going to draft him for his fantasy football team, despite Rodgers giving him the cold shoulder — was what Rodgers told the dude as he got into a waiting vehicle: “I think at some point you’re going to get a real job.”
Zing! Bravo, Aaron Rodgers. Bravo. A-Rodg doesn’t have to worry about this kind of crap in Green Bay, that’s for sure. I’m referring to not only being forced to deal with the paparazzi, but also hanging out in busy nightclubs. Or maybe even nightclubs, for that matter.
