Cute Padres fan shakes hips in celebration after nabbing souvenir ball (video)

In the bottom of fifth inning of Wednesday’s game between the visiting Philadelphia Phillies and host San Diego Padres at Petco Park, a ground rule double by Logan Forsythe set the stage for a fantastic celebratory dancing performance by a cute Padres fan.

The shot to right center field one-hopped over the wall, eluded the outstretched arms of one fan and fell right into the waiting hands of the young woman, who let her hips do the talking to express her joy at snagging the souvenir.

The hugging of the two little kids at then end adds just the right amount of whimsical adorableness to the entertaining scene.

Sadly, there was little to cheer for afterward, as the Padres lost to the Phillies by a score of 7-5 in 13 innings.

This video reminds me of the time when I put on a show like that after catching a foul ball at a game. I was promptly escorted out of the ballpark by stadium security. I’m not sure if it was my shimmying dance or the fact I was wearing a pair of low-rise jeans much like the young lady in the video. Probably a bit of both.
