Paul Neshek, the little brother of Oakland Athletics relief pitcher Pat Neshek who made a name for himself by making a spectacular catch on a wicked liner during the Minnesota Twins-Chicago White Sox game on Thursday while performing his duties as a Target Field ball boy, was interviewed by FOX Sports North sideline reporter Jamie Hersch about his stupendous grab.

And not only was Paul provided another moment in the spotlight by being interviewed during the Twins broadcast, Miss Hersch gave the young man a bit of grief for missing on another ball hit his way during the interview.

Footage of Paul’s miss comes at about the 30-second mark of the video (via MLB.com):

So, I suppose the lesson learned from Paul’s experiences at the ballpark on Thursday is: Sometimes you make the play, sometimes you don’t. But in the end, no matter how well you do your job, along with the accolades and praise, there always will be someone who will point out how you screwed up on another occasion.

Welcome to the real world, kid.
