Earlier this week, San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh attended a taping of “Judge Judy.” Coach Harbaugh, a big fan of Judith Sheindlin, appeared to have a grand old time and ever had the chance to meet the esteemed arbiter of syndicated daytime television justice.
On Tuesday, Harbaugh was asked about it by a few reporters from the assembled media during a break in the team’s Organized Team Activities.
Here’s Harbaugh on his foray into Wapnerland (hey, Judge Wapner is the OG of television judges, so he deserves the utmost credit for the cottage industry), during which Harbaugh says he ate lunch with Judge Judy and played some cards, which is kinda weird:
The crux of what Harbaugh had to say:
“It’s fun to watch somebody who does their job well. I could watch Judge Judy do cases all day. I could watch people play football who do their job really well. Uh, people that direct traffic. I get a real kick out of watching people who are good at directing traffic do it. Done it, for hours, watched it.”
