In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s good to be Tiger Woods. That remains true despite all the rigmarole revolving around the crumbling of his marriage from Elin Nordegren in light of his rampant skirt-chasing and how the sordid details of it all has continued to hang around his neck like an albatross all these years later.
Tiger, always the devoted father, appears to be putting other aspects of his personal life back in order as well, with a recently made-public romantic relationship with Lindsey Vonn being the driving force behind that upswing.
Speaking of swing, Mr. Tiger Woods is back on top of the golf world. He has reclaimed the world’s No. 1 ranking — the first time since October 2010 — supplying further evidence and a convincing testament to his career resurgence.
And with his return to Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters right around the corner next week, Tiger appears poised to secure his first Major tournament victory since the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
Through it all, Nike always appeared to have Tiger’s back, and the company sent him a little care package on the eve of the Masters. Referring to it as “Custom Swag,” Tiger shared some photos the goodies Nike passed along to him on Friday morning, all of them bearing a distinct characteristic befitting a tournament where a green jacket is the sought-after prize.
Killer. Green is good. Nike also provided Tiger with a green-tinged jacket or windbreaker kind of top as well:
