High school student signs out Andrew Luck’s textbook, tweets photo of it (pic)
It wasn’t too many years ago that Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Andrew Luck was a young high school kid with stars in his eyes and dreams of one day becoming an NFL quarterback. But unlike most high school kids, he probably realized his youthful aspirations of NFL greatness had a chance of coming to fruition. On the other hand, just like any other high school kid, he had classes to take and stupid old textbooks to sign out.
Youngster Kyle Rathgeb, who presumably attends Stratford High School as Luck did and goes by the Twitter handle @krat31_, tweeted a photo on Wednesday morning of one Andrew Luck’s very own Herbie Hancock that he found located inside his government textbook.
Remarkable penmanship on that Luck kid.
Any guess on how much cash the young man could make auctioning this bad boy off on eBay? You know there’s at least a small but rabid sampling of Stanford Cardinal and/or Indianapolis Colts diehards who would be more than willing to drop a pretty penny to procure this textbook. Makes me wish I would have held on to that Brian Bosworth chemistry textbook*.
*never really had Brian Bosworth’s chemistry textbook, but chemistry—steroids…get it? Yeah, I know. Weaksauce.
