By no means is this post meant to disparage Philadelphia 76ers forward Thaddeus Young, his above-average NBA career thus far after being drafted 12th overall by the Sixers in the 2007 draft, nor is there any intention to downplay the pretty impressive and thunderous one-handed put-back dunk Young threw down during a preseason game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night. But once you watch how this young Sixers fan completely loses his mind after said play from Young, you might believe it’s best if his dad limits his exposure to live NBA action.
Holy crap, he really lets it all hang out there, doesn’t he? But heck, let the kid have some fun, right? After all, what harm is there in an enthusiastic young fan having the time of his life at an NBA preseason game? Let your freak flag fly, young man.
And yet, ff there really is such a thing as NBA Fever, this kid most certainly has caught a raging case of it. Or, at the very least, he is experiencing symptoms typically associated with the Thaddeus Young Flu. And that, my friends, apparently is an all-too-real of an affliction. Or something.
