Porn link tweeted from San Jose Sharks star’s account, claims he was hacked

San Jose Sharks star center Logan Couture found himself in a bit of a Twitter controversy early Thursday morning after a tweet from his account provided a link to pornographic website YouJizz.com to his 110,000 followers. Before we continue, I am sure everyone out there in Internetland is grateful I pointed out that YouJizz.com is a pornographic website. There is no other way any sensible person would have otherwise come to that conclusion.

As is often the case in instances such as these, madness ensued — relative madness, I suppose, since we are talking about a professional athlete’s Twitter account — as lots of folks wondered why in tarnations would Logan Couture tweet such a risque link?

It turns out, as the old saying goes, that nothing good ever happens after midnight — haven’t you ever seen Gremlins? — and one of those not good things apparently includes having one’s Twitter account hacked, as that is the justification Couture made for his pornographic linkage.

The original tweet, which has since been deleted, something that should come as no surprise.:

And the subsequent tweet insisting that it was the result of a hack job, a hack job of course not being a sexual act of abject depravity one typically encounters while perusing YouJizz.com. At least not that I’m aware of.

Given there is no logical reason why Couture would have decided that linking to a porn site would be a good idea by any measure, it stands to reason that Couture deserves the benefit of the doubt that his Twitter account was indeed hacked and that he is simply a victim of some nefarious individual hellbent on besmirching his good name.

Either that, or that link is really something. Not that I would know, of course. I only visit YouJizz.com for the articles. Something I am sure holds true for Couture as well.
