Evidently, all Qdoba Mexican grill chains in the greater Chicagoland area sell burritos named after Chicago Blackhawks stars Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp. Well, the Blackhawks know a clever way to do an amusing promotional tie-in when they see it, which is how the “Qdoba Burrito Face Off” came into existence.
Visitors to the Blackhawks’ official website, after viewing a video (below) of the two aforementioned hockey players each whipping up the burrito which bears their name, can vote on which players’ version of the Mexican staple reigns supreme. While the “Lil’ Bit Of Love” sounds tempting — or, depending on how literally you want to take that phrase, sounds absolutely unappetizing and a possible health code violation — without tasting the burritos, I’d have to go with the Kaner Con Queso, because as we all know, cheese makes everything better, and when you’re talking about three cheese queso (and more cheese on top of that), that’s at least triple the goodness.
